Tuition & Fees
Tuition can be paid all at once, or in four equal monthly installments (August 1, September 1, October 1, and November 1). There is no option to pay weekly.

The Regular Registration Fee is per family, per semester.

The late registration fee is per family, and is added to the regular registration fee.

Semester Tuition for All Classes
Semester tuition is $116 for any FAYM class, any level, any age.
Tuition can be paid all at once, or in FOUR equal installments ($29 each on Aug. 1, Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1).
There is no option to pay weekly.

Men's Chorus Additional Tuition
Men's Chorus is an add-on class after the student is already enrolled in Sound Harmony. Men's Chorus tuition is $40 per semester, as long as the student is already in Sound Harmony.

Percussion Additional Tuition
Percussion students are required to attend Band and Percussion classes. The tuition for a band class is $116 per semester. The actual percussion class is an additional $40 per semester. The total tuition for percussion students is therefore $156 per semester.

Books and Materials
Most classes require you to purchase your own books and materials from separate sources. A few classes will hand out books or materials in class, and the cost of the book or equipment will be added to your account. The cost of class books usually runs between $5 and $20.

Instrument Rental
FAYM has a few instruments that can be rented for use in FAYM classes. These instruments tend to be the larger or harder to find instruments (tuba, upright bass, bari sax, bass clarinet, euphonium, viola, etc.). Rental is $20 per month, or $80 per semester.

Concert Hall Fee
Students participating in the final large concert of the semester (band, strings, chorus) will contribute to the rental of a large auditorium. The rental fee averages about $20 per family.
Online Parent Portal Account
​All families are required to sign up for an online Parent Portal account. This account will allow you to register for classes, see your weekly class schedule, check your payments and charges, and make payments online. Payments can be submitted with a credit card or echeck from your bank. Families may access this parent portal on a computer, or through the free app on your smartphone or tablet.
How to Pay
Option 1 (Strongly encouraged): Submit your payment through the Parent Portal. There is no extra charge for paying online. CLICK HERE to log in to your Parent Portal.

Option 2: Cash or check payable to FAYM, payable in person only. Payments by cash or check must be submitted by the 1st of the month, and can be handed in at the parent volunteer table. Please plan ahead to get in-person payments submitted on time.
